PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Restock Announced For Today (January 23)

PlayStation's 30th Anniversary Collection will be in stock on PS Direct today, January 23, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, according to Wario64.

If you weren't able to get the PS5 Slim, PlayStation Portal, or DualSense Controller in classic PlayStation gray, it appears all of the 30th Anniversary products--except for the ultra-limited PS5 Pro--will be available later today.

The boxes for each of these anniversary releases look great and pay homage to the original PlayStation packaging--just like the PlayStation Classic console did--but you'll definitely not want to go outside in a snowstorm if you get the PS5 Pro console.

As seen here, the original PlayStation four-color logo stands out nicely thanks to the gray finish.

Similar to the current PS5 console, the inner console shell features textured PlayStation shapes. For this release, the design has been slightly adjusted for the 30th anniversary.

You'll also find that 30th anniversary logo on the bottom of the panel.

Another neat feature on the limited-edition PS5 is "PlayStation 30th-Anniversary" text printed on the bar in the middle of the console shell.

The PS5 Pro has a similar aesthetic, but expect this one to sell very quickly when preorders go live.

As a reminder of how limited this run of PS5 Pro consoles will be, each one has its production number printed onto its grill.

A closer look at the regular PS5 DualSense controller is a reminder that PlayStation grey looks great on just about everything.

The DualSense Edge is covered in 30th-anniversary symbols and shapes, as you can find these on the touchpad and adaptive triggers.

Easily the best tribute to the past, the USB-C charging cable looks like it came straight from an original PlayStation console. Not only is the charging cable a lovely tribute to that console, but you're also getting a cool sticker, paperclip, and cable ties with PlayStation shapes on them.
