You can uncover many secrets during your adventure in Elden Ring, and the Realm of Shadow even has its own mysteries. Like the base game, you can obtain hidden loot by following the clues left behind by an artist. Here's our guide on where to find all paintings in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Where to find all paintings in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - DLC paintings guide

There are three paintings in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. These are called Incursion, The Sacred Tower, and Domain of Dragons. Our guide is organized to focus on each painting's location and where you can find the reward.

Note that the ghost of an artist/painter will appear if you're close enough to the area that has the reward. Once the specter disappears, you can pick up a secret item that it leaves behind.

Above, you can see a map that shows the location of the Incursion painting in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Both the painting and the reward are found in Gravesite Plain.

To get the Incursion painting, make your way to the Main Gate Cross in front of Belurat Tower Settlement. Then, turn around and look back at the way you came. You'll see a narrow cliffside path that leads to the south.

From the Cliffside Terminus Site of Grace and Prospect Town, continue going south until you see the Artist's Shack. Interact with the painting to place it in your inventory.

You can get this reward by going north from the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace, whereupon you'll arrive at the Greatbridge North waypoint. From there, go west until you see the glowing graves by the archway. Turn around and look at the rocky hill near the arch, and you'll find the ghost of the old man.

Serpent Crest Shield: A medium shield that has Str D scaling and Str 12 requirement.

The Sacred Tower painting will likely be the first you'll stumble upon during your travels, but the reward is quite far away.

To get The Sacred Tower painting, simply go to the Scorched Ruins waypoint and hug the base of the plateau to your right. You should see a couple of statues pointing at a small cave where this painting is located.

This item can be yours once you make your way to Rauh Base. From there, head south-southwest and activate the spiritspring near the marker with the region map (the cairn/stack of stones is near the base of the plateau). This lets you reach the Northern Nameless Mausoleum.

Go behind the Nameless Mausoleum to see a sloping path and ledges. The specter will appear at the cliff's edge with a clear view of the Belurat Tower of Shadow/Enir-Ilim.

Spiraltree Seal: A sacred seal that has Str E and Fai C scaling, as well as Str 8 and Fai 17 requirements.

This Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree painting requires you to head to Shadow Keep, and then the Jagged Peak.

To obtain the Domain of Dragons painting, proceed further into Shadow Keep until you reach the bridgeway that leads to Specimen Storehouse. This particular spot is guarded by some Tiny Knights and a Fire Knight. Check the left-hand side of the structure to see a ladder, which leads to yet another ladder. At the very bottom is a small room that has this painting. Note that this is also how you access Recluses River and Abyssal Woods.

To obtain the reward for this painting, you need to head all the way to the Jagged Peak. Once you get past the two drakes that are fighting, as well as the dragon Senessax, you'll find yourself at the Jagged Peak Mountainside waypoint.

From there, follow the cliffside path until you see a spiritspring. Use it to launch Torrent high up into the air, then go straight along the rocky path. Then, turn right at the portion where a large rock is jutting out. It should give you a clear view of the Scadutree in the distance, and the ghost will leave this item behind.

Rock Heart: An item that turns your humanoid frame into a dragon's, while also buffing your Dragon Communion incantations.
