You don't need to go into battle alone in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. That's because there are several ghostly beings who can aid you when you're in the thick of the fray. Here's our guide on where to find all DLC Spirit Ash summons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Moreover, please be reminded that this article contains spoilers.

The Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree summons can be found in almost every region. We've organized our guide based on their locations, and we've numbered them accordingly. Likewise, we've used star symbols to represent the ashes obtained from quests or optional tasks. Lastly, don't forget to collect Revered Spirit Ashes as well, since these greatly boost the capabilities of your spectral buddies.

When you start the DLC, you'll find yourself in the Gravesite Plain region. It's time to collect some goodies.

A reward for defeating Demihuman Swordmaster Onze in Belurat Gaol.

Follow the ridges south-southeast of the Castle Front waypoint and swing north upon exiting the Ellac River Cave. Eventually, you'll arrive at Rivermouth Cave. Eliminate the Chief Bloodfiend boss to receive this item.

From the Castle Front waypoint, go through the northern ravine and enter Fog Rift Catacombs. There's a section where you arrive at a higher ledge, whereupon you'll notice that the falling spike trap is fairly close. When it falls down, jump on top of it. Then, enter the opening that's further up. You can then pick up the ashes from a sarcophagus.

These are the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree summons in the Scadu Altus and Rauh Base regions.

A reward for interacting with the golden forge in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past mini-dungeon.

Found in Bonny Gaol. You must defeat a boss named Curseblade Labirth.

This particular Spirit Ash summon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is somewhat tricky to obtain. Basically, you want to follow the ravine between the Ancient Ruins Base and Temple Town Ruins waypoints. Right in the middle is a spiritspring that's hidden behind some trees.

Use Torrent to jump high up into the air and you should land on a ruined building. Walk along the walls and double jump across the gap. The narrow pathway will lead you to a shrine where you'll find this reward.

Delve deeper into the Scorpion River Catacombs until you reach a large chamber with a few falling spike traps and three knights at the opposite side. Use the small nooks to lure the knights (the traps can damage them). The black knight in this chamber drops the summon ashes.

To get this particular summon ash, you must complete the entirety of the Finger Ruins quest chain. Likewise, you must have both the Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation from Shadow Keep. You should then give the Iris of Grace to Night Jolan after beating her and Ymir.

The Jolan and Anna summon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree might be one of the best, since it allows you to call on both Night Sisters for aid. If you have the Swordhand of Night Jolan ash, make your way to the hidden northeast region (Scaduview), and check the cliffside ledges at the back of the Shaman Village area. Drop down carefully so you can reach the topmost tower of Rabbath's Rise. When you interact with the Puppet of Anna, the Jolan ash you have will get magically upgraded into the Jolan and Anna summon.

You'll need to venture into the southern portion of the world map (i.e. Cerulean Coast and Charo's Hidden Grave) if you want to continue exploring.

Head to the western edge of Charo's Hidden Grave. You'll find this ash summon next to several tombs.

Shadow Keep is Messmer's fortress, and it's comparable to Leyndell Royal Capital in the base game. Take note that there's a flooded alternate path that gives you access to other areas, too.

Go through the flooded alternate path and continue climbing the Specimen Storehouse facility. Eventually, you'll reach the Storehouse - Loft section. There are several lifts and ladders that you can use to continue ascending. Along the way, you should see a glowing item on a gargoyle that's jutting out of the wall. Here's what you need to do:

• Ensure all nearby Fire Knights and Screamer Bats are dead so they don't bother you.
• If you're down below and facing the item/lifts (as seen in the image), ride the lift to your right to return to the top.
• Then, step on the same lift and roll back outside. Quickly jump on top of the other lift (while it's ascending).
• You can then drop down--carefully--to pick up the ashes.

The Fire Knight who's been invading you occasionally can finally offer his aid. You need to obtain the Prayer Room Key from him, then open his chamber in the flooded Shadow Keep alternate area. Also, make sure you obtain both the Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation. Give him the Iris of Grace to receive his ashes.

You can get a few more goodies once you've made your way to the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

In the first temple complex (i.e. the one with spectral cultists and scorpions), there's one giant Spider Scorpion hanging on the ceiling. Take it out to obtain this item.

These are the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree summons in the Recluses River and Abyssal Woods areas. The path to reach these places is well-hidden, and we discuss the details further in our Abyssal Woods guide.

As you make your way down Recluses River, you'll stumble upon a section where you have to choose between two paths:

• The left-hand side has you hopping on stone ledges jutting from the cliff face.
  
• The right-hand side has a narrow path with numerous Man-Fly enemies.
  

Take the path to your right and eliminate the hostiles. At the end of the passageway in the Village of Flies, you should see this item in front of a shrine and some refuse.

 For this particular DLC Spirit Ash summon, you need to make it all the way to the last chamber in Darklight Catacombs. There, you'll face a giant Bigmouth Imp--it's got a huge cannon that will blow you to smithereens if you're not careful. Once this creature has been defeated, check the room to your left and pull the lever. This will lower the platform that that Bigmouth Imp was previously standing on. You can then pick up this summon in the opposite room.

These are the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree summons that you can acquire once you can access Enir-Ilim. This dungeon can be unlocked once you unseal the Belurat Tower of Shadow.

Once you get past the outdoor garden in Enir-Ilim, you'll have to climb up a grand staircase guarded by magic-spamming inquisitors. Along the way, make sure you look to your right. There's another set of steps that leads back down. You'll find the summon ashes in the small room.

After you tag the Spiral Rise waypoint, you have to traverse rooftops as you make your way through a plaza. The ash summon is inside one of the small buildings.
