Star Wars Galaxy's Edge: The Coolest Stuff You Can Buy

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at California's Disneyland and Florida's Walt Disney World is an incredibly immersive experience. Joining the forces of Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering, the theme park helps you live out your own Star Wars story, and what's better than that? At its core, this is still a Disney park though, which means there are many different ways you can spend your cash.

In addition to a unique menu of food and drinks for sale throughout Galaxy's Edge, there's also no end to the merchandise available for you to buy to commemorate your trip to space. From expensive droids, to custom lightsabers, to simple rocks, if it exists in the Star Wars galaxy, you can probably bring it home.

After attending the media preview for the new land, GameSpot has come up with the 23 coolest things you can buy at Galaxy's Edge to add to your personal Star Wars collection. Thankfully, the merchandise ranges in price, with some items costing less than $10 to bring home. Unfortunately, we couldn't find pricing on everything for sale. The costs we know of have been noted.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is open at Disneyland and Walt Disney World now.

This is among the cheapest keepsakes you'll find in Galaxy's Edge--$5 each--and the most useful. These specially-designed Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani water bottles are available exclusively in Star Wars land and are made to look like thermal detonators, which is pretty cool.

Another of the cheaper trinkets you'll find at Galaxy's Edge are little stones you can buy with Star Wars quotes engraved in them. Of course, the only one you should buy is this one, which has "Let the hate flow through you" written on it. Dark side rocks are the best kind of rocks.

You can find these in Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities.

Ask anyone who's been to Galaxy's Edge and one of the most exciting aspects of the land is Savi's Workshop, where you can build your own lightsaber. The experience may be a little pricey--it's $200--but it's an interactive show and sends you home with an impressive, heavy-duty plastic lightsaber, complete with a blade color of your own choosing.

If you don't want to wait in line or drop $200 on a plastic sword, stop by the Den of Antiquities. There you can buy some very impressive metal replicas of legacy lightsabers from the Star Wars franchise, and they go for as low as $100. You don't get to build it yourself, but $100 for a nice metal lightsaber is a decent deal.

Two of the most powerful women in the galaxy have been immortalized in stained glass portraits, which you can pick up in the Den of Antiquities. Honestly, these just look so cool. I don't know how they'd fit into anyone's decor, but they're so detailed that's it's worth finding a place for them.

If you don't want to hang images of Leia and Amidala in your home, why not dress like them, instead? The wig--complete with buns--is very cool, but the headdress is amazing. I can't imagine a scenario where I'd wear it, but something still makes me want to buy it.

Dressing like the Queen of Naboo might not interest you, but maybe suiting up as a TIE fighter pilot will. If you're looking to spend almost $500, this is a very cool helmet to own.

Honestly, I have no idea what a Sith chalice is or does. According to Wookieepedia, it's an incense burner and was seen in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Whatever the case, it looks awesome and would make a statement on your bookshelf.

If the chalice is too obscure a Star Wars reference for you, these mini-busts might do the trick. The Darth Maul one is the coolest of the Sith bunch. There are also Jedi mini-busts for sale, but these are definitely cooler.

If you or someone you know loves jewelry, there are tons of pieces for sale in the Den of Antiquities, based on jewelry seen in the movies.

There really is a lot of jewelry for sale, and some of it is pretty high in quality and price, if you're looking for a statement piece.

You can even buy a ring with the Resistance insignia or a necklace featuring a Kyber crystal.

If you build a lightsaber in Savi's workshop, it will come with a Kyber crystal--the source of the blade's power. However, you could also simply buy the crystals at the Den of Antiquities. Who needs a laser sword?

What do you do with the crystals, though? Well, you could just look at them. Of course, they also work with these very cool holocrons. These puzzle boxes light up if you shift the moving pieces around just right and you can insert the crystals into them to reveal different hidden messages.

If you lean toward the dark side, don't worry. The Sith have their own holocrons!

Step aside, Build-A-Bear workshop. You can build your own droids at the Droid Depot and it's a very satisfying experience. For $100, you can build a BB-series or R-series droid, which is remote-controlled and has some special features. In addition to you picking out the parts and accessories for the droid, it interacts with various aspects of Galaxy's Edge. What's more, it turns out the droids can interact with each other. That's pretty awesome.

There are also pre-built droids in the Droid Depot. Of them all, though, none is better than DJ R3X. For the uninitiated, R-3X first appeared as the pilot on the Star Tours ride at Disney parks. Now, though, he's found a new home as the resident DJ at Oga's Cantina. And you can bring your own R-3X home to DJ your life.

This remote-controlled droid is also a Bluetooth speaker and has a bunch of pre-programmed dialogue options and DJ sounds he throws in over your music. It's the one thing I refused to leave Galaxy's Edge without during my visit.

Hey, are you foolishly rich? Then why not go really overboard and spend $25,000 on a droid? You can customize your own life-sized R2 unit for that price if you want to be super indulgent. It's a beautiful bot, though.

There are also plenty of toys for sale in Galaxy's Edge, though these take the cake. These plushes are made to look hand-sewn and are for sale at the Toydarian Toy Shop. All of your favorites are available, including Watto for some reason! These plush toys will set you back $18 each.

If you want your toys a bit more detailed, these creatures are also for sale at Galaxy's Edge. Take a porg home before Chewie eats them all.

It wouldn't be a theme park attraction without plenty of clothing options for sale. However, there's nothing Star Wars branded for sale in Galaxy's Edge. Instead, you can buy stuff like these Jedi cosplay robes. You too can be Rey or Luke Skywalker!

You can't just cosplay as Jedi in Galaxy's Edge, though. The planet Batuu is in the middle of a war between the Resistance and the First Order. If you consider yourself aligned with the dark side, you can get this very cool First Order officer uniform.

If cosplay isn't your thing, though, you can instead but various pieces of clothing showing your support for the Resistance. What makes these items stand out as distinctly Star Wars is they're not just T-shirts with logos on them. Instead, they're designed in unique ways. A quick look at the shoulders on that children's shirt or the neckline on that women's top is a great example of how little changes have been made to standard clothes, allowing your pieces from Batuu to stand out.
