The Lunar New Year takes place on January 22 this year, and Fanatical is celebrating the holiday early with a massive sale on PC games. Whether you’re hunting for a few cheap indies or need to pick up the latest blockbuster at a discount, there’s bound to be something that catches your eye.
If you’re patiently waiting for The Elder Scrolls VI (which still doesn’t have a release date), consider checking out either the Skyrim Anniversary Edition for $18 or the Elder Scrolls Online Collection for $23. The former is an all-encompassing version of the popular RPG, complete with DLC and various Creation Club items, while the latter gives you access to the long-running MMO along with all previously released expansions. It definitely feels a bit different from other entries in the Elder Scrolls series--but if you’re looking for fresh regions of Tamriel to explore, you won’t find a better option.
As for indies, right now you’ll find Cult of the Lamb for $19, Broforce for $3, and Weird West for $20. Weird West is a particular standout, and it seemed to fly under the radar when it launched last year. It offers an authentic, open-ended RPG that’s pulled together with slick graphics and a fun combat system.
Other notable games on sale include Devil May Cry 5 for $9, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for $4, Gotham Knights for $27, and One Piece Odyssey for $50. You can also snag a preorder for The Last of Us Part I for just $54 ahead of its March 3 release.
Here’s a closer look at the best deals available during the Fanatical Lunar New Year Sale. Keep in mind you’ll earn a free gift when spending over $12 on a single order, so be sure to hit that threshold before checking out.
