Say goodbye to these five games
As it does each month, Microsoft is set to remove more titles from the Xbox Game Pass library. For the first half of October 2024, Microsoft is moving five games from Game Pass on PC, console, and the cloud--and the list of removals includes a game that launched into Game Pass as a day-one new release in 2022.
Scorn, released on October 14, 2022, is leaving Game Pass on October 15. The timing seems to line up with the game coming up on its second anniversary, suggesting there could have been a two-year deal in place.
Other games leaving Game Pass in October include Everspace 2 and Dyson Sphere Program, among others. You can see the full list of removals in the gallery below.
As usual, Game Pass members can save 20% if they want to buy the games outright to keep playing, which is a nice silver lining. This is likely the first of two waves of removals for October, with another batch set for removal on October 31.
In terms of additions for October, Game Pass welcomes MLB The Show 24 (for Standard subscribers) and Sifu on October 2. Inscryption is also heading to Game Pass on October 10.
