The "Dragon Age: Origins" type game you wanted.
The Story is great and well known. The characters are well made and you actually care about them.
The sounds come straight from the HBO series. If you have seen this series then you know what to expect. Great sound effects and score.
The game-play is the "meat and potatoes" here. The game plays just like DA:O except for two noticeable differences: 1. The game slows down instead of pausing when you issue commands or open the command menu. So, the action is even more tense and difficult. 2. There are close-up kills, sort of like in "Skyrim", if you are familiar to that game. Game of Thrones goes into a kill cinema for the last kill randomly.
The only complaints I would have is finding items in the game. A symbol pops up when you find something. You have to be really close to the item to see it though. So, you really have to search. Sort of like the RPGs in the old days, where you would click on walls and other things and hopefully something will pop-up.
The other complaint would be the mini-map does not help find quest points and items very well. Also, there is no button to quickly access the main map. That may have help.
Otherwise, it is a great game worth checking out.
