Alex Kidd in Miracle World Cheats For Sega Master System

  1. Continue

    If you lose all your lives, have over $800, and wish to continue, hold Up on the D-Pad, and press Button 2 8 times.

  2. Hidden message

    In the Japanese version, when the ending message appears onscreen, press 1 (×14) on Controller 2, then press 1 or 2 on Controller 1.

  3. Bonus Area

    On the third level, defeat the octopus by using an invincibility item and punching it in the face a few times. Move Alex onto the pot it was in and push down. Release down and then push it again and hold to enter the pot. You will enter a arena with a few enemies. Defeat them and exit and you will enter a secret level with a lot of money and a 1up!

  4. Janken challenges

    This is how to beat the Janken bosses when you play against them, without having to fight them if you lose.

    1st: Choose Rock in the first game, then Scissors in the second
    2nd: Scissors, then Paper
    3rd: Rock, Scissors
    4th: Paper, Paper
    5th: Rock, Rock
    6th: Rock, Scissors
    7th: Paper, Paper

    (Must be done in that order from the start of the game, if you choose one different along the way all the rest will be different)

  5. Continue code

    When the words "Game Over" appear on the screen, press and hold the Directional Pad UP and press BUTTON TWO eight times.
    This will enable you to continue, but only if you have $400 or more.

    At the "Game Over" screen, hold ^UP^ on the control pad and press "O" 8 times. Be quick. You will restart the stage with 3 lives, but it costs $400 to do.
