Arkanoid Cheats For NES

  1. Continue code

    To continue on the same level after you run out of lives, wait until the ''Game over'' screen goes away. Then, on the title screen, HOLD DOWN A+B while pressing SELECT 5 times. Let go of A+B, and press start.

  2. Skip Levels

    In the beginning of the level you want to skip (right after the opening theme music stops playing and the words on screen disappear), press and hold the Start button and (while still holding Start) press the A button and you will skip to the next level. Note: This only works for the first 16 levels.

    When you are at the Title screen, hold Start + A + B. Then, release when the level you want is displayed

  4. Level Skipping

    At the title screen, if you wait long enough, you will enter an AI demo - the demos go from Levels 14, 15, 23, 30, and 5, in that order. During this demo, the AI controls almost everything. However, in the third demo (Level 23), you can press the A Button at times to influence things like the ball's launching. When launched, the AI tries to keep the paddle under the ball. Normally, this succeeds since you can't control the paddle; however, if you activate the laser, the paddle shrinks slightly. If you time this correctly, the ball will bypass the paddle and therefore a life is lost. If you then use the continue cheat (Select five times while holding A and B), you'll go to the level the AI lost a life on! Just keep in mind that the game will show Level 23 as Level 1, Level 24 as Level 2, and so on.

  1. Infinite Lives

    While the game is loading hold down the Left Mouse, until the Robocop title screen appears, then let go of the button and start the game normally. Anytime you die type in ROBOCOPPER at the title screen and you will resart from where you died.

  2. Extra levels

    To access the 33 extra levels that are hidden in the game, hit [F3] when entering a 1-player game and then choose your level, or hit [F4] when entering a 2-player game and choose your level.

  3. Dev Team Notes

    If you dig into the game's programming, you'll a couple of messages. The first tells you to look for the second message in front of the final loader. The second message is actually a recruitment ad for potential programmers, complete with a few contact phone numbers.
