Getting 6 power-up points
When you buy a power-up for a player, the game randomly assigns 1 to 6 points for you to spend on your player's stats. Baseball Stars constantly auto-saves: if you bought a power-up, got 1 measily point and spent it, you can't reset and load the old save. However, if you reset BEFORE spending the points, you'll still have your money, so you can just reset as soon as you buy the power-up (and find out how many points you got) and try to get 6 points everytime. This saves you a lot of money, especially since the cost of power-ups grows exponantially.
This might damage the cart's battery save, so you probably shouldn't do it unless you're using an emulator (Note: don't bother using emulator savestates for the same effect, you'll keep getting the same amount of points)Contributed by: Macolio

Quick Cash (2 Controllers)
Create a team and start a league VS the Lovely Ladies. When the lovely ladies are batting, you can throw 9 strikes and be done with the inning. Since you are controlling both teams, you don't have to worry about giving up unwanted hits.
When the Lovely Ladies are pitching, hit the batter until 10 runs are scored. This takes 2-3 minutes max. I would recommend leveling your players' prestige so you can get more money after each game.Contributed by: SimuLord

See Special Ending Image
If using any of the default teams to finish the game, you'll only get a trophy at the ending. If you finish using a custom team (it can be one of the hidden teams or a new creation), you'll see an additional celebratory image after the trophy scene.

"Hitting a No Hitter"
When facing a superior team, hit the batter allowing him/her to take 1st base. When the next batter appears step off the mound with the pitcher and throw a pickoff to the unoccupied 2nd base, once the fielder has the ball, run toward home and then throw back at the base. Nobody will be there to cover and the ball will go into CF. You may need to move the CF position to get the ball. Once the CF has the ball throw it back to 2nd base which should be automatically covered and you will throw out the advancing hit batter from first base. Repeat 3x for 3 out and go Hit!

Confusion Spell
I found this trick out years ago. When playing against the AI, and you have runners on first and second, you can get the ball to stick to the wall by forcing the computer to constantly throw the ball to the proceeding base. Eventually, the outfielders take over covering the base, then, they'll start running around the infield. After throwing it back and forth for a few times, the ball will eventually be thrown out of the baseline, and into the center field wall. I will say, this trick doesn't happen every time, but, when it does, it's really fun and funny to watch.
