Battle Arena Toshinden Cheats For PC

  1. Hear Fo's Hidden Music (Japanese PlayStation version only)

    First, in VS HUMAN mode, play at least 10 consecutive matches on Fo's stage. The number of rounds do not matter. Also all of the matches do not have to be Fo vs Fo mirror matches, they can be Fo vs anyone. What's most important is that all the matches take place on Fo's stage 10 times in a row.

    Next, once you've played 10 (or more) consecutive matches on Fo's stage, if you do a Fo vs Fo mirror match you will hear Fo's hidden music during the fight.

    A few notes:
    *If you go to any stage other than Fo's stage before you trigger Fo's hidden music then you will have to start the count over. Also if you quit the match and return to the title screen then you will have to start the count over.
    *Once you trigger Fo's hidden music it cannot be played again unless you reset the console.
    *This trick does not work on the USA PlayStation version or on any Sega Saturn versions.

  3. Secret boss fights with Sho and Jim and real endings

    In order to get the real endings for each character, you must set the difficulty level in "HARD" or "VERY HARD", and win all fights, including Gaia, without using any continue. You can lose single bouts as long as the "SET POINT" isn't 1 (and therefore, it would mean losing directly the fight)..

    If done correctly, after the "DESPERATION MOVE" demostration will appear a new challenger, the secret boss Sho. No matter if beaten in the first try or after several continues, once he is defeated the real ending for the character will appear in text. Afterwards, a "SUPER MOVE" demostration will be shown.

    Additionally, if Sho was beaten in the first try, after the "SUPER MOVE" demostration will appear a second secret fighter, Jim. Once Jim is beaten he will be permanently unlocked as a character, along with Sho and Gaia, without needing to introduce any code when you start the game again.

    Unlockable
    Beat him in 1P GAME. Gaia (playable character)
    Beat Jim in 1P GAME. Jim (playable character)
    Defeat Sho without using any continues. Jim (secret fight)
    Beat Sho in 1P GAME. Sho (playable character)
    Beat 1P GAME in HARD or VERY HARD without using any continues. Sho (secret fight)

  1. Listen To A Song

    You can play the soundtrack for each stage when you go to the playstation music player.

  2. Reach the Real Last Boss and Ending

    To fight Sho, the real last boss, you need to set the difficulty level to Hard and finish all opponents without using a continue. If done right, after you beat Gaia, you'll get a message saying "Here comes a new Challenger". You'll also get the real ending after you beat Sho.

  3. Alter Egos

    To select a character's alter ego press Select when highlighting the character you wish to use.

  4. Additional Camera Controls

    While playing a regular game, pause and press Square + Circle + Triangle + X then press Select twice. The power bars will be removed and you can use the shoulder buttons to zoom and pan around the entire arena. To return to normal press Square + Circle + Triangle + X and Select.

    On the main title screen press Up, Down, Up, Down, Down, and Triangle

  6. Instant Desperation Moves

    Enter the Instant Super Moves code and change the control set so the L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons will be the Special buttons(ex setting A3 and A4). Now anytime in the game when your energy bar is flashing red press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 at the same time to do your character's desperation move. Note that you can only have the special setting in the Very Easy and Easy difficulties.

  7. Japanese Version Codes

    The Japanese codes are different than the North American ones. At the title screen after a demo, as the options scroll onto the screen, do the following.

    right, down, down/right + circle--controller 2 Enable Sho as a playable character (down + circle on Kayin)
    down, down/right, right + square Enables Gaia for 1P and 2P modes. (Select Eiji with up + circle)
    down/right + X Perform secret moves more easily (Select+R1+L1+L2+R2)

  8. Instant Desperation and Super Moves at any difficulty level

    Effect Effect
    First enter the Gaia, Sho, and Instant Super moves codes. Then at the title screen while the words are appearing on the screen quickly press right, left, right, left + square on controller 2. Instant Desperation and Super Moves at any difficulty level.

  9. Instant Super Moves

    The following code must be entered after the Gaia and Sho codes

  1. CD OST

    If you put the game disc in a CD player, you'll be able to listen to the soundtrack starting with Track 2.

    At the Character Selection screen, select your character and hold Down, then press A, B, or C.

  3. Custom Camera

    Press Start during a battle to pause the game. Enter the Options screen and highlight anything except Exit. Press and hold L, move the cursor to Exit, and Press R. Press the following buttons to check out the different angles.
    L - Rotate the playfield clockwise
    R - Rotate the playfield counter-clockwise
    X - Zoom out
    Y - Zoom in
    D-pad - Pan the camera up/down/left/right

  9. Unlockable Characters

    Please do the following:

    Defeat the game on hard without dying. On the Player One Character Selecy Screen, Sho and Gaia are selectable. To play as Cupido, place the cursor on Sho and hold U and press B. Play as Bosses
    First, enable Sho, then at the Character Selection screen, highlight Sho. Now, press Up + A. Play as Cupido
    Beat the game normally. Play as Gaia
    Just beat the game in story mode. Play as Sho
