Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Cheats For PC

1. Piano Recital

   Once you acquire the Carabosse Familiar Shard, equip it and go to the piano in the Garden of Silence. Sit in the chair and wait; Miriam will start playing the piano, and Carabosse will sing along. If you let the song finish, you'll even get an achievement.

2. O.D.'s Chair

   After you've acquired the Invert ability, go to the room directly beneath O.D. Use Invert to launch yourself through the narrow shaft in the ceiling beneath O.D. Do this repeatedly enough times, and you'll unlock an achievement, the Nose Glasses, and another item. This is an homage to a similar trick found in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

3. Kunekune Quick Kill

   Kunekune's strategy involves cursing you to drastically limit your health, and then rushing in with high-damage physical attacks. If you're unprepared or fighting at low levels, this will kill you in a matter of seconds. However, there is an easy way to get through this fight without taking any risks. Before the encounter, equip the Heretical Grinder. As soon as the fight starts, run to the right and jump on top of the passageway that connects the two train carriages. Kunekune will not be able to reach up there; it'll just scramble back and forth beneath you. Aim the Heretical Grinder grinder through the ceiling of the passageway; it should be long and adjustable enough to hit Kunekune wherever it goes. If you keep the Heretical Grinder going long enough, Kunekune will eventually die without landing a single hit on you. You can also perform the same trick by running to the left and jumping on the crates in the carriage you just walked through.

4. Easy Eight Bit Overlord

   Before fighting the Eight Bit Overlord, equip the Directed Shield. Using this will block all of Eight Bit Overlord's projectiles, thus eliminating the need to dodge or jump over his waves of fireballs. The only way he can damage you is if he flies and drops directly onto you.

5. Easy 8-Bit Nightmare

   8-Bit Nightmare is a secret area that's designed as an homage to retro Castlevania games, including a few enemies and platforming. If you want to skip that and get to the boss quickly, however, you should use Invert as soon as the level starts. This will allow you to run along the ceiling, where there's almost no platforming or enemies to slow you down. If you have the Accelerator leveled high enough, you'll be able to easily outrun any of the ghosts that try to chase you.

6. 8-Bit Miriam Profile

   When the game is loading up 8-Bit Nightmare, press Start just before you're able to regain control of Miriam. This will bring up the menu screen, but Miriam's profile art will be pixelated. Depending on the timing of the button input, she'll appear as a large mass of pixels, or with her face and clothes better defined. These images don't appear at any other point in the game.

7. Pixelated Castle

   When you're about to kill the Eight Bit Overlord, make you have Standstill activated, and don't let go of the button at any point. When the game reloads the castle, you'll see that not only do the colors remain inverted due to Standstill being active, but what should be modern graphics remain in 8-bit pixels. You won't be able to see any of the details or enemies, but you can still approximate where the entrances and exits are based on the map layout. This glitch will remain active for as long as you keep the Standstill button held down. You can even play with it little by rapidly releasing and holding down the button; each time you do that, the graphics will get a little sharper. However, if you do anything that requires a cinematic (saving, teleporting, area transitions, etc.) the glitch will stop.

8. Late Game Money Farming

   Late into the game, you'll find that you need a lot of money to craft certain weapons and shards. However, this problem can be taken care of with enough preparation. As soon as you obtain the Augment Gold shard, prioritize maxing out its levels as soon as possible. The higher its level, the greater value the money from random drops will be. If the level is maxed out, the minimum drop amount is 100G, and the maximum is 2,000G. Money will start dropping from enemies as well.
   
   To benefit the most from this, go to the Forbidden Underground Waterway, specifically in the hallway directly beneath the save point on the far left side of the area. It has six candles separated in two rooms, as well as a few minor enemies. To make the process go even faster, equip the Accelerator and Gebel's Glasses; this combination allows you to infinitely dash without using MP, thus preventing unnecessary MP restorative items from randomly dropping. If you have everything set up properly, you'll be able to rack up well over 100,000G in only a few minutes.

9. Inverting Master Carpenter

   As soon as the fight with Master Carpenter starts, use Invert. This will allow you to walk on and attack from the ceiling, well out of reach of most of his attacks. Aside from the occasional thrown knife or the Demon Lords he summons, Master Carpenter won't be able to damage you easily.

10. Inverting Revenant

    As soon as the fight with Revenant starts, activate Invert and crouch down on the ceiling. This will put you out of reach of nearly all of his attacks. The only exception is his axe throw, but he rarely uses that. All you need is a weapon that can hit at above and/or at a distance from you, like a greatsword or the Heretical Grinder. Also, it's possible to lure Revenant to the entrance to the room and get him stuck in there; his programming won't know what to do, and sometimes he'll just stand there until you kill him.

11. Easy Millionaire's Bane

    Whenever Millionaire's Bane spins its slots, it automatically blocks almost all of your attacks. However, there is one exception: the Welcome Company summon. Using this during the slot animation will still cause damage, and you won't have to worry about it attacking you until the animation is done. Also, in subsequent rematches, Millionaire's Bane will not attack you until you either get too close or attack it. So instead of charging in, use your most powerful projectiles as soon as you enter the room. Depending on how high your levels are, you might be able to kill it before it can get anywhere near you.

12. Refilling Blue Chests

    Each area has a few blue chests containing various crafting materials. If you're farming for some items and want the process to go faster, simply teleport out of the area, and then teleport back in. Alternatively, you can exit via one of the transition doorways, enter a new area, and then go back in. This has the effect of instantly refilling all of the blue chests in the area, thus saving you a lot of time and searching.

13. Dual Wield Bloodbringer

    The Bloodbringer is unique in that it can be equipped as either a weapon or a Familiar. Under normal circumstances, you're not allowed to have them equipped as both at the same time. The game will automatically block you from doing it. However, it is possible to get around this with a few easy steps:
    
    1. Equip the Bloodbringer as a weapon, but leave the Familiar shard blank.
    2. Save this loadout on a Shortcut.
    3. Unequip the Bloodbringer as a weapon, and then set it as the Familiar shard.
    4. Switch to the Shortcut loadout you previously saved.
    
    Since your loadout didn't have a Familiar shard equipped, the Bloodbringer will automatically take the empty space. Now you'll have the Bloodbringer on both settings, and you can even save it as its own Shortcut for easy accessibility.

15. 1986 Mode

    Access the Classic Mode launch screen and enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X or Square, B or O. If done correctly, “1986” will appear at the bottom of the screen. Starting the game will reveal Miriam in a new red outfit, and she will have limited abilities.

18. Accelerator

    Deep in the Den of Behemoths, you'll find a special demon called the Harrier. This one won't attack you; instead, he'll challenge you to a race through his gauntlet. The race begins as soon as you cross the rope next to him. If you beat him, you'll be given the Accelerator shard, which drastically boosts Miriam's running speed and gives her a protective aura that automatically kills weak, minor enemies on contact. When the shard is fully leveled and used in tandem with Gebel's Glasses, Miriam can endlessly dash as long as she doesn't come in contact with a wall or a strong enemy.

20. Archer Familiar

    There's a hidden area with a Familiar that doesn't count towards the game's completion rate. To find it, buy the Crown of Creation from Dominique, equip it, and then ride the train as it travels from left to right on the map. At the end of the ride, you'll be transported to a new place called the Dead Lands. Kill the Breeder at the end of the area, and you'll unlock the Archer Familiar

21. Augment Gold

    Augment Gold is a special passive shard that isn't dropped by enemy; it needs to be crafted. Once you've obtained the Augment LCK from the Deathtraps in Inferno Cave or Oriental Sorcery Lab, collect a piece of gold material and take the ingredients to Johannes. Augment Gold boosts the value of the gold you get from random drops, such as from candles. If its levels are maxed out, then the money will also start dropping from killed demons as well as candles, and come in increments of 100, 500, 1,000 or 2,000.

22. Optional Boss Rewards

    By defeating the optional bosses and fulfilling some sidequests, you'll unlock a few special items and abilities. Before taking on Revenant and Millionaire's Bane, speak to Lindsay to activate the Avenge the death of Richter! and Avenge the Death of Juste! quests first respectively, and then talk to Lindsay again after beating them. One of these must be defeated first before Orlock Dracule. To acquire the Tome of Conquest and trigger the boss fight with Orlok Dracule, you have to have 99% of the map uncovered. The IGA fight and items are strictly DLC, and you have to activate Lindsay's Avenge the death of Julius! quest.

    In order to unlock New Game + you must beat the game with the good ending. After the credits end, go back to your file and press L2 to access the New Game +. However, when you do start a New Game + file, all of your weapons, armor, and items will be carried over. But not all of your abilities and shards will carry over.

31. Valkyrie Sword

    Once you've obtained the Dimensional Shift near the end of the game, travel back to the Towers of Twin Dragons. Go to the far right tower, and head to the interior room under the save point. Use the Dimensional Shift to teleport through the floor. You'll see a prompt to open an invisible chest; unlike all the other chests, this one doesn't appear on the map. It contains the Valkyrie Sword, one of the more powerful weapons in the game.
