Capcom vs. SNK Cheats For Dreamcast

  1. Fight CPU Nakoruru

    Unlock and buy her shadow. Go into Arcade or Pair Match Mode (if obtained) and go into SNK groove. Get 60+ groove points before your fourth fight. She will challenge you.

  2. Fight CPU Morrigan

    Unlock and buy her shadow. Go into Arcade or Pair Match Mode (If obtained) in Capcom groove and get 60+ groove points before your fourth fight. She will now challenge you.

  3. Fight Akuma

    Complete Arcade mode and buy his shadow. Get 81+ groove points before your final fight to make him challenge you.

  4. Unlockables

    Unlockable Unlockable
    Complete Pair Match Mode once to obtain the Original Themes cheat. This cheat allows you to change the music you will hear while fighting. Original Themes
    Complete Arcade Mode or Pair Match Mode with Iori using the SNK Groove. He will appear in the Secret Shop. Orochi Iori
    To unlock Pair Match Mode defeat both Morrigan and Nakoruru in Arcade Mode. It will now be avaliable for purchase in the Secret Shop. Pair Match Mode
    Defeat Akuma to unlock Ratio Edit Cheat. It will be available for purchase in the secret shop. Ratio Edit
    Defeat Akuma in Arcade or Pair Match Mode and buy both Morrigan and Nakoruru. Unlock Akuma
    Complete Arcade Mode with any character to unlock different colours for that character. Colours can be select before a fight. Unlock Character Colours
    To unlock different secret stages simply defeat the characters that appear on them. This will work for M. Bison, Geese, Morrigan, Nakoruru, Akuma, and Sagat's secret stages. Unlock Different Stages
    Complete Arcade Mode or Pair Match Mode with Ryu using the Capcom Groove. He will appear in the Secret Shop. Unlock Evil Ryu
    To get the EX Version of a character, simply complete Arcade or Pair Match Mode with that character in his/her own groove. Unlock EX Characters
    Defeat Morrigan in Arcade Mode and buy all the Capcom EX Characters. Unlock Morrigan
    Defeat Nakoruru in Arcade Mode and buy all the SNK EX Characters. Unlock Nakoruru

Capcom vs. SNK Cheats For Arcade Games

  1. EX Characters

    While selecting a character, hold the Start button, and the normal above the character's name should change to EX. This does not work for all players such as characters with a 4-person evil equivalent, and 3-person characters.

  2. Turn All Ratios to Two

    Insert your coin:

    At the Title Screen,
    Hold down Light Punch and Hard Punch (Buttons A and B)
    then press Start without releasing the 2 buttons.
    Keep holding down all the three buttons.
    At the character select screen, you'll notice that their is now only one line. All character ratios are equal. You will now have the ability to use two Boss Character or even 2 Evil Ryus or Ioris.

  3. Unlock hidden characters

    This code requires access to the NAOMI Game Configuration (operators only). Enter the NAOMI setup using the test button, and then select the Game Test Mode option (scroll down the list with the Service Credit button, select with the Test button). Select the Password option (scroll with the 1P joystick, select with the 1P SHOT1 button)

    SNIBD6IO Disables all EX character modes
    0H2DK0EI Disables all hidden stages and bosses; disables all Ratio-4 playable characters
    OIASHCBR Enables all EX character modes; enables Evil Ryu & Evil Iori; enables hidden stages (Morrigan after stg. 3 w/ >70gps; Akuma after stg.4 w/ >85gps)
    OGSDOROG Enables Ratio-4 playable character Akuma (must have Ratio-4 characters enabled)
    KNOIRGON Enables some EX character modes
    MTOMHMNA Enables some EX character modes (different characters)
    ASTUERUP Enables some EX character modes (different characters)
