Possibly the best tech demo I've played. Just don't expect anything more.
The game is decent. The physics aren't realistic in the least, despite the claims, and it doesn't let you do anything you would expect from a physics processor, such as cracking open chunks of an object to fit your needs... Read Full Review

If you haven't got an Ageia card, don't bother.
I'll give Cellfactor: Revolution this much: it has a really kicking soundtrack playing at the main menus, and it has pretty good graphics. But ff you haven't got an Ageia card, don't bother. I have a reasonably good comp... Read Full Review

What Gamespot Users have to say about CellFactor: Revolution

Exciting, new style of game play. And you do get what you expect.
First of all I need to say to all people who gave this game a bad rating because of its dependency on AGEIA's PhysX card, IT IS made to demonstrate it's power and the huge amount of physics objects moving around you need... Read Full Review

A Lot Of Fun While It Lasts - Just Make Sure You've Got A PC That Can Handle It
Sure, CFR isn't a 100% polished next-gen showpiece, but the concept is a pretty good one and the game is actually quite a bit of fun once you're able to master the control scheme. As you'd expect the physics in the g... Read Full Review

I think it is ambitiou project and could be much more go od when it has a bit more user friendliness; I also have not low end PC; Have C2Duo 6300, 2GB RAM (dual channel) 2 x 250 GB HDD and a Nvidia 8800GTS 620MB RAM; wi... Read Full Review

The game may be free, but it lacks the most essential part of any FPS game: user-friendliness.
Of course, if you have the AGEIA PhysX card, you should not have any problems whatsoever enjoying this great game. However, for the rest of us, or should I say, most of us, this game is a total disappointment. Right a... Read Full Review

Great, if you have an AGEIA physics card.
Well this game is obviously an ad campaign. You would need a physics card in order to fully enjoy this game. Luckily, my friend does have a physics card and I played it there. I've gotta say. It is really fun. Best ... Read Full Review

Novelty wears off in five to ten minutes. This is fine as a tech demo, except for the fact that you don't need the tech to run it. This demo is unpolished to the max. Levels as tiny as the ones presented in this thing... Read Full Review

Garbage. Unoptomized and a real chore to play. This obscenity wont help PhysX sales.
My system is more then capable of running this game, and it can for periouds of time until is decides to randomly stutter and crash. The graphics are based soley on HDR, so there isnt anything revolutionary here, just bl... Read Full Review
