Push blocks without getting burned
Some levels contain pushable blocks that conceal fire traps. If you want to safely push a block that might reveal fire, then walk toward it from an adjacent row or column and hold the directional pad diagonally toward the block as you pass by. You will push the block but continue to move in a straight line, avoiding the tile where the block used to be. This is especially helpful on level 149. It only works on the Atari Lynx version, not the Windows version.

Level Skip
First enter the "Chips left always set to 0" cheat. Then during gameplay, press 'c' on the keyboard. You will then see the level completion screen and proceed to the next level. You can use this on any level.

Cheat Codes
During gameplay, press 'f' on the keyboard, and a message will show up. On this screen, type in any of the below codes. The screen will flash if the correct key was pressed. Remember to always type in the period at the end of the code. Once you have finished entering a code, press 'f' again to resume the game and activate the cheat.

Skip Levels Without Password
At any time in any level, press Ctrl+T. This unlocks the "Ignore Password" mode. After that done, simply press Ctrl+N and you'll be skipped to the next level. To turn off the "Ignore Password" mode, go into the "Game" menu and de-select the option.
