Cross Edge is a frustrating wreck that no human should ever endure!
I'm a big JRPG fan, and since I played games like Disgaea and Atelier Iris, I was looking forward to characters like Etna, Prinny and Marie. The game begins spouting all kinds of tutorials in your face, without givin... Read Full Review

Meeehhhhh. I hope Morrigan Aensland's reputation doesn't suffer from this dull game.
Honestly...I haven't even finished this game. I was really excited about it when it first came out. I begged my mom to buy it for me for my birthday. What mainly caught my interest is knowing that there would be Morrigan... Read Full Review

I had a dream about a game like this once. I got murdered at the end. That's what it feels like to play this game.
I bought this game for about $20 from a friend who, due to a factory shipping error, had two copies of the game. I wasn't sure how I would like it, but for 20 bucks, I figured, "Eh, what the hell. After all, it's not lik... Read Full Review

A JRPG with lots of potential that falls short.
When Cross Edge was announced for an American release, I was very excited. Characters from Disgaea, Darkstalkers, Ar Tonelico and more in the same game sounded like a great idea. It is a great idea, but the game is a dis... Read Full Review

Decent JRPG to fill in the void.
Cross-Edge is a fun yet fairly difficult game to play. The learning curve is somewhat steep due to lack of detailed information about how to play the game. Unlike other games that would provide as much info to start your... Read Full Review

An Interesting Rehashing of the Oldschool RPG Formula
Do you miss the old days of RPGs? Large character rosters, recurring enemies, sprawling worlds, dialogue that makes little sense at best? Good news! Cross Edge is, for better or worse, the most interesting attempt at a r... Read Full Review

Probably not the kind of game you bought your PS3 to play, but more rewarding and engaging than much of it's library.
When I first heard of this game, I was immediately interested. There just aren't enough JRPGs (Japanese Role Playing Games) on the PS3. Though I haven't played most of the games from which the characters hail (only the D... Read Full Review
