  1. Extra Stage/One More Extra Stage

    If you obtain a grade AA (9500000 pts+) in the Expert difficulty on the final stage of your credit, you will advance to the Extra Stage. This does not work on Tutorial, Nonstop or Challenge modes, or on Battle mode. In the Extra stage, you must play on expert difficulty with these options: 1.5x, Reverse, Rainbow, and Pressure Gauge, which makes your lifebar start at full but also prevents you from recovering energy.

    Depending on the difficulty you chose, you may be presented with a "boss" song to play for your Extra Stage. If you successfully pass this song, you may then play the One More Extra Stage. For OMES, you must play the hidden song "Chaos" on Expert difficulty, with no options, and on Sudden Death, where you fail instantly if you obtain even a single judgement of Good, Almost, Boo or N.G.

    Easy mode has no boss song, so you cannot access the OMES on this mode.

  2. Extra Stage Boss Songs in Normal Play

    In order to unlock the "Boss Songs" used in Extra Stage, first, you must be in Game Mode. On your last stage, you must clear a song on Expert with a AA grade or higher. This will allow you to play the Extra Stage. You can pick any song you wish, but the mods are locked at 1.5x Speed, Reverse Scroll, and Rainbow arrows. A boss song also appears, listed in red, but will be different depending on which song sort you selected (before you start your game). In order to unlock the song in red for normal play, you must clear it with an A or higher, and then buy it from the game's shop.

    Assuming you clear the Extra Stage with a AA grade or higher, you will gain access to the Encore Extra Stage. You can only choose one song, Chaos, and it will immediately end if you get anything other than a Perfect or Great. Clearing Chaos with a full combo allows you to purchase it in the shop as well.

  3. Alt. way to unlock boss songs

    Some of the boss songs can be unlocked in the shop by clearing the EX Showdown on "Nitro" and "The Last" stages in Stellar Master Mode.
