  1. Cheat Codes

    Enter the following codes at the title screen:

    Effect Effect
    Press I, II, Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, and Up on controller three. Then, under the options menu, select ''Vmode' Arcade Mode
    Press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, I, II, and Left on controller four Level Select
    Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, II, and I. You may select up to 9 credits in the options menu. Nine Credits
    Press Up, I, Right, II, Down, I, Left, II, Up, and Select on controller five. See Animation Sequences
    Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Right, Left, I, II on controller two. You may select up to ten ships in the options menu Ten Ships

  1. Masato Ohsawa Dedication

    The credits normally end with a generic dedication to Masato Ohsawa, the director of the game. If you dig into the game's code, however, you can find the full dedication at 0x273EA (JP Version) or 0x271B6 (EU Version). It explains that Masato Ohsawa was the director of this and many other games at Konami, and suddenly passed away on January 2, 1991, just before the game was released.
