Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Cobi's Journey Cheats For Game Boy Color

  1. Max Out Stats

    If your monster has reached a certain threshold below 999 in any stat, usually 949, then you can permanently max that stat by equipping any accessory that would raise it to 999, then unequipping it. This is useful for monsters that have reached max level and can't gain any more points in the given stat.

    The stat raising items and the value needed for that item to work are as follows:
    949+50 HP: VITbelt
    919+80 HP: DracoBelt

    969+30 MP: MagicBelt
    919+80 MP: OddBelt

    989+10 ATK: StoneFang
    949+50 ATK: SteelFang

    989+10 DEF: MermScale
    949+50 DEF: DrakScale

    989+10 AGL: AGL Ring
    949+50 AGL: Starry Ring

    949+50 INT: Smart Ring
    899+100 INT: Wise Ring

  2. Terry Mode

    Complete the game with over 150 monsters. Terry from ''Dragon Warrior Monsters'' will go to GreatLog. Find him near the entrance in the Arena. Defeat him in battle, and a new breeding mode will be unlocked. In this mode you can breed monsters from ''Dragon Warrior Monsters 2'' with monsters from ''Dragin Warrior Monsters''.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure Cheats For Game Boy Color

  1. Unlock Terry mode

    To unlock Terry Mode first collect over 150 different kinds of monsters, then go to the Arena in GreatLog. Once you're there talk to the blue and white character, Terry. He'll challenge you to a battle, and after winning you'll unlock Terry Mode in the main menu, allowing you to breed monsters with the first Dragon Warrior Monsters game over Link Cable.

    This is also the only way to breed Watabou, one of the monsters on Terry's team and the mascot of the first game.

  2. Link Cable Breeding

    When breeding over the Link Cable you can use new monster combinations not found in normal breeding that allow you to breed stronger monsters easier than usual as well as the WonderEgg monster, which is exclusive to Link Cable breeding.

    Some combinations work both ways, giving a different monster than usual to either player, while others are one way, giving a different monster to the player breeding the first listed monster, and the normal result to the other player.

  3. Secret Monsters

    Some monsters can be recruited in certain areas after you've already completed them, or by meeting certain conditions.

    Unlockable Unlockable
    After completing the Oasis World, return and go to the Mirage Lake, then talk to the Beavern on the right to recruit it. Biino the Beavern
    After completing the Limbo World, bring 10 Tinymedals to the Medal Master and trade for a Darck egg. Darck
    After completing the Pirate World, return and surf three screens up from the Door Shrine, defeat the KingSquid there to recruit it. KingSquid
    After collecting 250 different monsters, speak to Warubou to recruit his son, Petibou. Petibou
    In the Pirate World, go deep into the northern cave and defeat the HoodSquid there to recruit it. Squiz the HoodSquid
    After collecting 290 different monsters, speak to Warubou to recruit him if you haven't already recruited Petibou. Warubou
    After collecting 150 different monsters, beating Terry, and unlocking Terry Mode, breed Petibou or Warubou with Watabou in the first game. Watabou
