   When playing AI opposition, the game has a very simple method to ensure that your pitch is unhittable.
   
   Hold down and the A button at the same time to throw a slowball. Once the pitcher begins to throw the ball, release both buttons and hold the up button to curve the ball upwards.
   
   Should the AI batter swing for the ball, they will always swing too low and miss the ball.
