FIFA 99 is a good choice for the neophyte, and an almost-essential upgrade for the die-hard soccer enthusiast.
While not completely perfect, it's deep on options, packed with real teams and players, and presented with a slick interface.
If your definition of a great soccer game begins and ends with dead-on realism, you can't go wrong with FIFA 99.
