Possession: Sounds a bit gruesome doesn't it?
The Good: Possession is a fresh new idea, there's plenty of fun in possessing, story mode is relatively good, the game has a nice artistic design in some areas. The Bad: Weak gunplay, weak multi-player, graphics are t... Read Full Review

What Gamespot Users have to say about Geist (2005)

Gee it sure is boring around here.
Geist a completely unremarkable game. I was promised an atmospheric first person action adventure game. Instead I got a game devoid of any creativity what so ever. The story is about a soldier who must take hold of a Sout... Read Full Review

Geist tries too hard to be ambitious but only just manages to pull off a decent game.
Geist released back in 2005 as one of the few "Mature" titles for the GameCube. It did its best to meld first-person shooting action with a unique puzzle solving aspect that ends up being just a gimmick that wasn't full... Read Full Review

What Geist tries to do is interesting, but what Geist actually does is at times wonderful. Geist will surprise you.
What looks like an FPS at first glance turns into a strange out of body adventure that has you possessing everything from a pot of hot water to a rat. Your character gets captured first thing and his soul/ghost gets suc... Read Full Review

What Geist dose for the Gamecube is exactly what Killzone did for the PS2.
When Geist was first announced, I honestly felt that the game would be good. Well, in is not. The entire game in play is in frist preson, but you will always have the beginning and end mission cut-scenes, as well as... Read Full Review

Geist is an FPS with a new twist, a twist that adds plenty to gameplay while sacrificing technical "wow".
Geist is one of the rare games out there that tries to break out of the mold of standard FPS games by introducing a new gameplay mechanic. In this case, that mechanic is possession, the ability to become a person, object... Read Full Review

Geist is an amazing achievement that is underappreciated because of its exclusivity to the Gamecube and lack of online.
Here's a shocker for me. This game literally had my interest for a while, but I didn't see it being this amazing. I was truly amazing at the work that n-space did with this title, and I wish they would have gotten credit... Read Full Review
