    After you beat the main game, an extra level will be available. It is an extremely hard level no matter what difficulty you are on. Expect to use a lot of continues.

  1. Dev Team Messages (JP Version Only)

    If you go through the game's files, you'll come across one named KAIHATSU.DOC. This contains several messages from the dev team. They discuss various aspects and anecdotes from the game's production. Also, ABS.TXT, BIB.TEXT, AND CPY.TXT provide a general listing of the game, as well as a copyright notice.

  4. Hidden Moai Battleship Stage in Gokujou Parodius

    The Moai stage can appear after any stage except the first and last, if after defeating the boss of that stage your score meets the following criteria:

    Stage 2 - Hundreds digit is 8 or 9
    Stage 3 - Hundreds digit is 6 or 7
    Stage 4 - Hundreds digit is 4 or 5
    Stage 5 - Hundreds digit is 1, 2, or 3
    Stage 6 - Hundreds digit is 0

    Note that you have to actually defeat the boss; if you wait for it to self-destruct you won't get the stage, even if your score is set up correctly.

    Power down In Gokujyo Parodius/Parodius 2/Fantastic Journey, pause the game, then press <B>Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Start. You will get the ''Oh My God!'' powerup which removes all your existing powerups.
