Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Cheats For DS

  1. Bulletproof Taxi's

    Complete dropping off 15 people in a row without the timer running out and all taxi's will become bulletproof while you are in them. This will not affect number of times cheated in the stats menu.

  2. Here Be Dragons!

    Take a boat ride to any corner of the map to be greeted with a "Here Be Dragons!" message on the ocean floor.

  3. Skip Taxi Hotwiring

    This glitch lets you skip the hotwiring process of a taxi, and to do so you must find a taxi with no one in it. When you find it, get in the car and the hotwire process will start. Instead of hotwiring it press the SELECT button to start the taxi missions, then press SELECT again to cancel the mission. After this you do not have to hotwire the car.

  1. "Here be Dragons!" message

    Grab a boat, or swim if you'd like, and go to the far corner of the map. There, you'll see a large brown sign on the ocean floor. It'll read, "HERE BE DRAGONS!".

  2. Stop, Drop, and Roll

    If you are set ablaze, just remember what you learned in elementary school, "Stop, Drop, and Roll!" Just press Y and you'll put out the flames instantly!

  3. Bypass Taxi Hotwiring

    Find an empty taxi and get in. Instead of hotwiring, press SELECT to start the Taxi bonus missions. Press SELECT again to quit and the taxi will be hotwired.

  4. Avoid Tolls

    At full speed you can exit your vehicle at a toll and the vehicle will roll through it. You can then walk through it for free. Congrats, you just saved... 5 dollars.

  5. Save Your Drugs and Guns

    When you get arrested, all of your hard earned uhhh... drugs and guns are taken away. To prevent this, as you are getting arrested / yanked out of your ride, press pause. Got to Multiplayer, then Wi-Fi Connection. It will then ask you if you want to save. Save and you and your equipment will save safely at a nearby safehouse. Safety first!

  6. Flaming Burnout Speed Boost

    Hold both Y and B till your car starts doing a burn out, then release Y and your car will do a speed burst forward leaving a trail of flames!

  7. Sprint forever

    In order to run indefinitely without completing all of the Paramedic missions, simply tap X repeatedly instead of holding it down. Now Huang will never get exhausted!

  1. How to Quickly Hotwire a Car

    Get in an unstated car. When the Hotwire option comes up, click the X the get out of the car. Then immediately get back in the car. It will already be started.

  2. Other Cheat Codes

    Cheats are entered on your Mission Replay Board which can be accessed by visiting any Safe House (you can find the Board on the far right side of the Safe House). The Mission Replay Board has a jumbled set of magnetized letters that can be used to arrange all kinds of words – spell out the letters below to input the following cheats: (You will know you have entered a cheat successfully when all of the magnetized letters go back to their original position on the board and a piece of text appears at the bottom of the screen with the load-out name you selected. Once you exit your safe house, you can switch weapons by pressing the pause button in the upper right hand corner (a screen with all of your current weapons will pop up).
