Heroes of Might & Magic III is still an all-time classic, although there are better and cheaper ways to revisit the past than this HD remake.
Heroes of Might & Magic III is still an all-time classic, although there are better and cheaper ways to revisit the past than this HD remake.
Except for the new maps and a handful of minor gameplay changes, there's absolutely nothing in Shadow of Death that Heroes veterans haven't seen before.
Its longer, more complex campaigns and enhanced map editing features seem better suited to zealous Heroes fanatics than to casual fans.
Spending even a short time with the game quells any doubt that it's anything but an excellent sequel and a first-rate strategy game in its own right.
