Coming from a non-Hockey fan, this is a fun game and a good addition to your VC collection.

Ice Hockey is a quite good game on its own but when compared to other NES hockey titles, it doesn't really stand out.

Ice Hockey is one of those rare NES sports titles that is still fun to play even today.

It's no Blades of Steel, but for other reasons still a must have hockey game for the NES.
