At the title screen press R, Up, Down, L, X, B, Left, A, Right, Y, if you did it correctly you will hear a dog's bark. Note: You have to use the 2nd controller (1st doesn't work at all for this code)

Extra skill points

Enter edit players mode before the match and use all available skill points. Highlight the "Cancel" option and press Y for 200 additional skill points.

Max out entire team's stats

Before a match, enter Edit Player Skills. Select your first outfield player and set his stats to maximum. Once you finish, press B to highlight the "Exit" option at the top right corner, and from there, press Down to highlight the goalkeeper. You will notice his stats are maxed out as well. Select him and change his stats to one point in all categories. Then move the cursor to the next unaltered player and repeat what you did for your first outfielder: select him, max out his stats, press B when finished, then select the goalkeeper (who will be maxed out again) and set all his stats to one point. Repeat this for all other players, but don't forget to keep the goalkeeper maxed out once you finish editing the last one. This is useful for the match against the Superstar Team after beating the World Series, since their stats are all set to maximum too.

Save penalty in replay

Defending a penalty is not an easy task, but in International Superstar Soccer the goalkeepers had a little extra help: the replay. Yes, even if the goal had happened on the real shot, it was possible to defend the ball during the replay display and make the game go on normally. For this, it was enough to put the goalkeeper in manual or semi-automatic mode before the kick, let the opponent score the goal and, at the time of replay, press L+R when the batter touches the ball, put it in the direction where the kick was made. and press X to defend.

Unlock the Special Game

Play through the World Series, and reach the end of the 2nd season. If you got there in second place or lower, you'll go to the Championship. But if you got there in first place, you'll skip the championship and play a Special Game against the All Star Team after the credits are over.
