A classic game and good in many fronts!
Mega Man 5 is a really good game. There only a couple of levels and this could be beaten in a few weeks but no many games have given me this much heart and fun. Each level is great fun and the bosses are also great fun. ... Read Full Review

My 1st impressions on MM5 after beating it. Just a pile of mega mess if you ask me, this game is just all over the place
BLARGH! This game is so annoying! Just everything about it reminds me of all the Mega Man tropes I hate! The levels are full of trial and error, especially Proto and Wily's castle. The fact there is two castles doesn't h... Read Full Review

The 5th "Mega Man" game on the NES isn't only the best, it's also the easiest (which isn't saying much!) :D
After taking a bit of a falter with "Mega Man IV," Capcom managed to pull out all the stops for the fifth outing of the Blue Bomber on the NES. Graphically and musically, games don't get much better on an 8-bit system th... Read Full Review

Another nice addition to the Megaman library...
The Good: Fun Level Design, Somewhat Challenging Gameplay, Not As Hard As Megaman 1 The Bad: Standard Plot, Not Too Much Different Than Megaman 4, A Bit Easy Compared To Megaman 3, or Megaman 2. Megaman 5 is basica... Read Full Review

Though similar to past entries, Mega Man 5 is still a goodie to come back to now and then.
After the recent defeat of Dr. Wily, things remain quiet for a short while until Protoman, Mega Man's once-trusted friend, turns the other cheek and kidnaps Dr. Light, his own creator, and leads an army of destructive ma... Read Full Review

A huge upgrade to MM4 and a great sequel in general
The Mega Man series was rulling the NES, but MM4 fell short to expectation, but the sequel, Mega Man 5, feels like the game MM4 was trying to be. GRAPHICS: The graphics are the same as the other games, but the backgr... Read Full Review

Without a doubt the most impressive of the original Megaman games.
Although I have memories of playing nearly all of the early Megaman games in my childhood (Except the first Megaman title), none of them stick with me quite as much as Megaman 5. At this point the developers have ironed ... Read Full Review

Improves upon Mega Man 4, but doesn't add more to the experience. ------- 9.1/10
Mega Man 5 is the fifth installment in the Mega Man franchise. It improves upon Mega Man 4, but isn't very different. The only thing keeping this from being Mega Man 4.5 is a bigger charged up Mega Buster shot. Graphi... Read Full Review
