Mega Man X2 Review (SNES)
Not as good as the first, but still a really good game! The game looks and controls exactly the same as the original, the presentation is about the same as before, and the gameplay is almost exactly like the original, wi... Read Full Review

Mega Man X2 - The Maverick Hunter Returns!
In 1993 Capcom released their newest entry in the Mega Man series; a game called "Mega Man X." Although Mega Man X was a follow up to their already long running franchise, it was a new beginnings for Mega Man as well. Ta... Read Full Review

Mega Man X2 tries to one-up the success of its first installment, but it does not do a good job at it.
After the success of the first Mega Man X game, Capcom comes back with the sequel: Mega Man X2. Like the first game, you must venture into the hostile territory of eight mavericks that showed up months after the defea... Read Full Review

Mega Man X2 does exactly what the original does, just a lot better.
Highs: Great and challenging level design, secrets are very rewarding, controls and plays nicely, more dialogue than the first game, great music, cool wireframe effects given by the Cx4 chip, great story, a better game t... Read Full Review

My 1st impressions after beating MMX2. Tries to hard to make lighting strike twice, but it just can't be like MMX.
Like its predecessor before it, X2 does a good job of imitating Mega Man X, but I don't find it as a good thing. The game is still harder starting out then it is finishing, and it still has all the collectible goodies ar... Read Full Review

This is one of the series' best.
Mega Man X 2 is the one of the excellent SNES Mega Man X games. I think these games are the best ever. With that said this game has a harder set of robot masters than the first and probably some of the most interesting... Read Full Review

While Mega Man X2 is still an attractive package, there are a few problems that drag the game down.
Mega Man X, in all of it's awesomeness, made Mega Man... just better. The gameplay was faster, the graphics were prettier, and the gameplay was just a bit more solid. So of course, hopes for a sequel were very high, but ... Read Full Review

while not quite X3, a great follow up to a SNES classic!
I played Mega Man X and Mega Man X3, and loved them both. The weapons were sick, the gameplay tight, good music, great bosses. But for some reason, I had never gotten Mega Man X2 for SNES. Well, I recently downloaded it,... Read Full Review

It's fairly epic and fun but does not quite live up to the first.
Megaman X was a ground-breaking achievement that delivered innovative and fun game play to the series and also evolved it. Megaman X2 doesn't exactly evolve the series but rather pushes it further by adding in some new ... Read Full Review
