Refined 2D excellence, but not without its quirks.
In many a gamer's mind, the Megaman X series started and ended with the first X game on SNES. Of course, being Capcom, eight Megaman X games were made, including 2 sequels on the SNES. X2 made a number of improvements t... Read Full Review

Mega Man X 3 - X and Zero Team Up!
At the end of the SNES' lifetime, Capcom decided to send it off with one final big title; the follow up to Mega Man X2, "Mega Man X3." As they say, the third time is a charm, but is that really the case this time around?... Read Full Review

My first impressions after beating MMX3. Artificial difficultly really made this game lose its potential to surpass X1,2
Why is Mega Man X3 so hard! While it certainly wasn't the most challenging Mega Man game I have played, it was one of the most difficult! Just a lot of what makes this game hard is due to you being striped of armor and i... Read Full Review

X and Zero's last adventure on the Super Nintendo has to be their best one yet.
Before X and Zero's big move to the PlayStation, Capcom went at it again with the 3rd installment of the MegaMan X series. While much has not changed when it comes to both the gameplay and controls, it still makes up fo... Read Full Review

Mega Man X3 is widely considered the best Mega man X game, but I feel it doesn't improve much on X2.
Mega Man X2 was a solid game, but there were a few problems with it. The music wasn't that great and the graphics were more of the same. Well guess what Capcom did to help X3 do better? Absolutely nothing! Yay, 5-Stars! ... Read Full Review

Excessive difficulty and an underwhelming storyline mar what is otherwise a solid addition to the X series.
I remember how excited I was as a youth when Megaman X3 first came out. Being a veteran of the first game in the series, I was beyond pumped to experience another installment of the splendid X series. Even now, 14 years ... Read Full Review

Apart from some added extras the game didn't change much in the series.
Megaman X and X2 were slightly the same game. Megaman X3 isn't exactly different graphically wise but the content in the game is a lot deeper than the last 2. Story: A few years have passed since X and Zero once agai... Read Full Review

X and Zero are back...but so is Sigma!
I'm not sure if this is better than Mega Man X, but it is certainly better than Mega Man X2. X and Zero are still hunting Mavericks and once again have to deal with Sigma. Sigma is trying to build himself a new battle bo... Read Full Review

This game is truly the best SSS on this platform. I say it as: Capcom's finest hour for Megaman (aside from Megaman 2)
Ok now, I'm a little on edge today: I have to get a few more reviews until I hit 20, so I'll say this outright: THIS GAME ROCKS! Well, let this talk for itself. +Great bosses. +Perfect for speed runs. +Hard enough.... Read Full Review
