Mega Man X8 Cheats For PlayStation 2

1. Battle Cutman.

   If you have a Megaman X: Command Mission save on the same memory card that you are saving on in X8, you can battle Cutman at the end of Optic Sunflower's stage.

2. Unlock Zero's Sigma-Blade

   Simply complete the game and then load your clear file. The Sigma-Blade will now be available for purchase in the R&D Lab.

3. Maximum Metals

   This glitch is intended to give you the max number of metals in the game in just one pause during gameplay. First you need to have a life tank and make sure its not completely full, recommended half full. Second you need to have less than 50 metals. Go to the the R&D development room and get a life charge for the life tank which costs 50 metals to obtain, the game will glitch out and your metal counter will disappear from screen. go to any level and go find a single metal anywhere on the level, the metal counter will increase insanely. Now press start to pause and bring up the player menu screen, your counter will read 9999999, the maximum number of metals possible in the game!

4. Shoryuuken with Zero

   Equip the K Knuckle and press up+special weapon to preform the spinning uppercut. Normally this would be Hyouryuushou

5. Rasetsusen Glitch

   This glitch requires the use of a controller which allows the pressing of the D-Pad Up and Down simultaneously. When Zero or Layer use it, press and hold Up, then also hold Down. In doing so, you'll move straight up rather than down as intended, making it easy to get to high area and beyond even the stage's bounds.

6. Ryu's Hurricane Kick

   Equip the K Knuckle on Zero and jump up and press Triangle.

7. Shoryuken with X

   You can do a shoryuken with X (in his ultimate armor).

   Hold Up and press triangle.

   This move appeared in Megaman X2 as an ultimate move (like the Hadoken in Megaman X1). It's not powerful at all, but a fun easter egg.

8. Play as the Navigators.

9. Unlock Armor

   Beat the game and have 100% of Axl's metals puchased and defeat the final boss using Axl with a double attack.	Axl's White Armor
   Beat the game and have 100% of X's metals puchased, as well as all 8 armor pieces.	X's Ultimate Armor
   Beat the game and have 100% of Zero's metals puchased.	Zero's Black Armor

10. Obtain Sigma blade, fight Cutman, play as Alia and Layer

    At the title screen where it says "press start", enter the codes then, start a new game on normal or hard and the blade and the 2 characters will be available at the development shop for purchase.

    To fight Cutman, go to the end of Optic Sunflowers stage.
