1. Unlocking additional levels

   To unlock additional Egypt / Brazil / USA stages, complete the initial 3 stages on any difficulty

2. Endless Stages and Secret Character

   To unlock the North Pole stage, simply clear the first six stages using any character and difficulty setting. To unlock the Moon Stage, reach a depth of 1500M on the North Pole Stage with any character on any difficulty setting. To unlock Rabbit, reach a depth of 2000M on the Moon Stage with any character on any difficulty setting. Rabbit's drill has a spread attack that clears three squares instead of just one. He can also climb two squares.
