Nobunaga's Ambition Cheats For NES

1. Gold Sanctuaries

   In Nobunaga's Ambition (NES), whether it's the 17-Fief game or the 50-Fief game, once your Daimyo has conquered/acquired several fiefs, clear the ones in the middle of any troops--these fiefs must only border upon your other conquered/acquired fiefs--and then Raise Taxes to 100%...for some reason, if there aren't any troops present in a given province where the taxes level is high, then there won't be any Peasant rebellion (maybe because there isn't anything to rebel against?). I've experienced this through trial and error, and it works. Every Fall you can collect the surplus of gold and then Send it to a Fief where it's needed...admittedly, this is an ethical issue (essentially you're creating "slave-states" for expliotation), BUT it's just a game after all, and this method wil create a LOT of gold--and rice--for use in Fiefs which border other Diamyos, where it's needed to hire soldiers, etc.
