A dual focus on immersion and complex military action returns in force with Operation Flashpoint: Resistance, a large and entertaining expansion pack for the original game.
It provides an interesting look back at the history of vehicle-based first-person shooters, but as a modern Xbox game, Operation Flashpoint: Elite doesn't hold up.
The setting is perfect shooter material, and Operation Flashpoint does justice to it with complex gameplay coupled with a huge and truly memorable gameworld.
