  2. Super Speed Option

    At the character create screen, name a character Code Sonic. (not case sensitive)

    In the options menu in-game scroll down to Super Speed, activate and apply settings.

Outward Cheats For PlayStation 4

  1. Play As A Troglodyte

    Place a Common Mushroom in a Legacy Chest. Then start a new character with that legacy option. As soon as you start the game, your character will be a Troglodyte.

  2. Instant death

    Press Options to open the game menu, then press L1+R1+L2+R2. A new option will appear with a debuff icon. Click it and you will die. Useful if you are stuck on level geometry and need to respawn.

  3. Load backup saves

    Click "Continue Game" on the main menu, select your character, then press L1+R1+L2+R2. Two more saves will appear: your last manual save, and the last two auto-saves. Useful to recover from glitches or despawned items/backpacks.

  2. Debug Mode

    Create an empty txt file named "DEBUG.txt" and place it into the "Outward_Data" folder, found in the "Outward" folder*. Press any of the following after loading your character for the desired effect:

    *For DE (Definitive Edition): Create an empty txt file named "DEBUG.txt" and place it into the "Outward Definitive Edition_Data" folder, found in the "Outward_Defed", found in the "Outward" folder.
