Unlimited XP in Book 1, Battle 1
In the first battle of Book 1, every character is equipped with a Protect Ring. Using this ring casts Boost 1 on up to 5 characters at a time. Each time you power up 5 people gives the caster 20 XP. When used, there is a chance the ring will crack.
However, while the rings can crack, they cannot break, so it is possible to simply keep everyone standing next to each other, use their rings and gain as many levels as you desire.
If you are dedicated enough, you could start Battle 2 with all characters at level 99 promoted.Contributed by: Grochek1

Early Protect Rings for Book 1
In the first battle of Book 1, all the characters are equipped with Protect Rings. However, as part of the storyline, after the first battle, all your characters will lose these Rings. However, if you drop the Rings while in Battle 1, they will then be available in Deals at the Merchant to be purchased. Thus, you can, if you have enough gold, purchase the rings that you otherwise would have lost.
