1. Extra Lives

   During gameplay, you can enter codes to earn one of two extra lives. These codes can only be activated in certain levels under certain circumstances, and only once per playthrough.

   Effect	Effect
   Pause game, press Left + A + Select.	Extra Life (Level 3)
   Walk onto the platforms, reach the stone block with the two flares nearby, stand between, and pause the game. Then press Right + A + Select.	Extra Life (Level 4)
