Perseverance and patience are godsends when it comes to finding The Lost Crown
So ghost-hunting eh! I must admit I was intrigued enough by the idea to pick this one up. Well, that and I've played Johnathan Boakes previous Darkfall games and enjoyed their spooky atmosphere, which is replicated her... Read Full Review

Stay away, not worth your precious time. Vague puzzles almost/ incomplete clues or hints.
I played this game on a couple of rainy days (which are not normal in Denver) and still couldn't get in the mood. The CONS: Horrible voice acting, the best sounding like they are reading; the lead character Nigel i... Read Full Review

A great game that will satisfy every true adventurer but may be problematic for casual players.
Just lately I heard about The Last Crown, another ghost-hunting adventure game from Jonathan Boakes, being under developement. That reminded me of his previous (and imo so far best) game - The Lost Crown. With this revie... Read Full Review

There are better point-and-click adventure games out there.
About the one good feature of this humble game is the use of the ghost-hunting gadgets to reveal ghostly finds, where the game taps on the thrill of witnessing paranormal activities. The visual treatment is a nice blend ... Read Full Review

A long, beautiful, creepy, and sometimes scary adventure.
The Lost Crown is exactly what adventure games should be. This beautiful game is intelligent and intriguing, it guides you in world out of our own, which appears detailed and feels believable but at the same time dreamy,... Read Full Review

A great story but an agonizingly, slow, slow, slow pace.
What makes the Lost Crown a great game is its story. It's detailed, intriguing, and has reasonably well-developed characters. It's the kind of story that you want to finish so you can know what happens at the end. And... Read Full Review

A great "Gabriel Knight" style horror/mystery adventure, but... the... slow... pacing... kills... it...
I love a good, creepy, atmospheric point-n-click adventure, so I was very anxious to try Lost Crown. The last really fantastic horror adventure series falls back to Gabriel Knight, which was fantastic from start to end, ... Read Full Review

Atrocious, cardboard cutout game!
I'm astounded at the ratings for this game, it really sucks; the graphics are wooden with no animation and the voice acting is wooden. The graphics are truly awful. Characters are like motionless cardboard cut outs t... Read Full Review

Not really good , not really bad . Not hell , not heaven . Not black , not white .
TLC , is a game that can impressed you one time , and at another , depress you . Yet , it can still attract you enough to finish the game and ponder relentlessly at it's open-ended story line . Pros: -Interesting gh... Read Full Review

shadows in the dark...
Like I said , *whispers* shadows in the darkā¦ Haha okay this game is a horror point & click game. And the Darkling team did a very good job. The game is designed in black and white (I've never seen a black and white p & ... Read Full Review

Interesting and challenging, but mostly just sad!
The actual plot of 'The Lost Crown' shows a lot of promise. It's all set in a throw-back town called Saxton that's rife with ghosts and ghoulies, and your mission (being that of the trendy Nigel Danvers) is to find and r... Read Full Review
