1. 3 Extra Lives (USA and Japanese Versions)

   When the searchlight is revealing the game's title, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, and A on controller 2. If done right, you'll hear a sound. Now, whenever you reach 20,000 points, you will be rewarded with three extra planes instead of just one.
