Whomp 'Em Cheats For NES

1. Access Sound Test

   At the title screen, hold down A + B on Controller #2 and press Start on Controller #1. Continue holding A + Buntil the message ''BGM + SE 00'' pops up on the screen.

2. Extra Energy

   When you begin the game, die quickly and continue. You'll continue with two energy bottles. Repeat the process to begin with three energy bottles(the maximum).

3. Skip to the Boss

   While playing, pause the game by pressing Select. On the 2nd controller press A, B, Up, Down, Up, Down, A, B, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, A, B, A, A, A & A. If done correctly, a sound will be heard. Now press Select and enter the same code again. If done right, a different sound will be heard this time. Now just complete the current area and you'll be warped directly to level boss.

4. View Ending

   At the title screen, enter the Sound Test menu. (Hold A+B on Controller 2, press Start on Controller 1, and hold A+B for a while.) When there, press Down, A, and B on Controllers 1 and 2 at the same time to view the ending.

5. Extra 3 Lamps

   During any level of gameplay - except the first - press Select. Then press Up, Down, Left, and Right all together using both controllers - for example, press Up and Left on Controller 1, and Down and Right on Controller 2, both together at the same time. This will only work once per level to give you 3 lamps.

6. Extra Items

   At the stage selection screen, highlight the desired level of play. Then hold down one of these buttons on Controller 2, then press A or Start on Controller 1 to begin with these named items at the start of the stage.
