A game that didn't age to well
Guantlet is one of the longest running games in video game history. You take the role of a character (elf, knight, etc) and hack 'n' slash your way through numerous levels, finding keys to unlick paths to the next level. Well, it's not persay that the orginal Gauntlet is "bad," but games in the series, like Dark Legacy just made Gauntlet that much better, and the original is left in the dust, feeling like a boring game.
Graphics:
Obviously not that great. It's an 80's arcade game, what do you expect?
Sound:
Repetative and old. Sounded better in the olden days, but now, these sounds are just terrible.
Replay:
Tons...if you want to play it again. The game is really repetative, but I have played the 360 version more than the actual arcade machine, mainly because I don't have to waste so many quarters this time around.
Overall:
It's a nice addition to your Live Arcade collection, but not necessary. There are better arcade games.
