This game is underappreciated. I haven't had a better multiplayer experience with friends.
Straight-up hack n' slash. Mashing buttons can get you through the game but unlockable moves are useful and easy to remember. Wish the story was a little more elaborate to add length to the adventure though.
Graphics:
Great concept/cut-scene art. Good fantasy styling and fluid animations.
Sound:
Nice original score and good sound effects. The announcer sounds out of place when he cuts in on the action though (other sounds get 'turned down') and is a little repetitive but then again, he always has been.
Overview:
Sure, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is short. But get three friends and up the difficulty and you'll have a great time. That's where this game shines. It's easy enough for anyone, gamer or not, to pick up and have a blast for a hours.
