I'll keep this short & sweet. If you played the first one and liked it then you will love the sequel. This is one of the rare occasions that the sequel delivers on the hype and is head & shoulders better than the original. If you don't have it then get it and you won't be disappointed. I haven't played online yet so I can't judge the multi-player or community but the campaign itself has been a blast. I'm playing on normal and have approx. 12 hours invested in the game thus far. I just made it out of the "Hive" and I'm back at Jacinto. There is something about being able to walk up behind someone and rip them from the sternum up!! This game also has some of the best if not the best visuals I have seen. The smoke filled cities to the fog covered mountains in the background. If you have surround sound then turn it up and take full advantage. So far I only have two complaints and they are minor ones. The first one was the fight with Skorge inside the hive. The fight was too easy and much too short. I expected more out of it than that. The second is that I wish there was a way to mute Cole and Baird at times. Baird only wants to whine and complain as he did in the first and Cole is constantly making idiotic remarks.
