Let's start with the graphics. Man were they pretty. Although not to much of a difference since Gears 1 since that game was ahead of it's time. It does make a lot of changes though making some unnoticed changes. There is definitely more blood and gore which makes killing all the more worth it.

The gameplay
Same mechanics as Gears 1 although when your opponent is down crawling for dear life. You can end it all in a second by running up and curb stomping the **** out the **** Always fun. You can use them as a meat shield but I hardly ever did that cause you would have to switch to a pistol, and I didn't like that. So it was pretty much the same so veterans of the game can jump on in and feel the same thing they did a couple of years back. The multi player offers new things like my favorite horde mode where a bunch of locust come and attack you in waves and you and a bunch of friends fend them off. Not much to say about it really.

The Story
One of the best I played. Although being extremely short, the story of Dom finding his wife Maria is a touching one and I cried a little, in the inside. The new rookie Ben Carmine is the coolest new character.

Where it shines
The co-op story mode. Going guns blazing with a friend through the story is really fun cause he's got your back and you experience team work and whatever and such and such.
