A competent entry in the series that brings nothing new or particularly interesting. This game features the annoying "flashback" style of storytelling that, for some unknown reason, game writers seem to think we like and has been seen in several shooters in the past few years. As in previous versions, you can't really see where you are going while running nor do you get an accurate view of where you are throwing your grenades. Another annoying feature is the constant level endings and stats display. Every two minutes or so of game play is a level end and a run through of the stats for that particular level. This gets annoying and needlessly disrupts the flow of the game and story. I'm no fan of 3rd person games but overall a decent shooter that brings no real surprises or innovation.
