Gears of War is a game that you can really get to like after the first hour or so.

Gears of War was revolutionary with the totally new combat system. The Campaign is a little too short, but it is a fun story. Xbox Live is filled with little kids and fanatics who freak out if you steal their kill, mostly because they want to get to 10,000. The fan base I've seen on this game is worse than the Halo 2 Fanatics. The Shotgun in this game is way too overpowered and it takes the fun out of Xbox Live, "All you need is the shotgun, and your one of the best Gears of Wars players in the world." But there are some cool things about this game, such as being able to choose with COG or Locust you want to play as. And being able to hold two weapons and a pistol, also how the weapons show up on your character. This game is fun on single player or co-op, but multiplayer on Xbox Live gets annoying. Despite the Multiplayer, Gears of War is great.
