Gears of War, did it truly deserve all of it's hype? Not even close... Read my review to finds the pros and cons in GoW

When I heard my friend Eirik had got Gears of War, I immediatly went to his house and we played the game through, I was disappointed beyond belief.
Gameplay: I thought Gears would have great gameplay from what I'd heard, but it didn't. So friggin' repetitive, Emergence Hole, fight drones + wretches and then sometimes fight 2 boomers after that. The gameplay is this: Find cover, shoot, take cover, shoot, repeat that until the Locust is dead. Thankfully, Nightfall changed the gameplay a bit. You can't go into the darkness or else you'll eaten by the Kyrll, flying piranhas basically. But, after that level, things die down into the same take cover thing.
Graphics: Oh lord, does this game look good. If you're a graphics whore, GET THIS GAME NOW.
Sound: It's got very satisfying chainsaw sounds, and the voice acting is quite good too.
Value: This game isn't worth your $60 bucks, unless you REALLY want to play intense survival matches on Live, but I warn you. There are SO FRIGGIN MANY LITTLE KIDS ON LIVE. And they always TK everyone, so I warn you if you want to get this for Live.
