A great shooter game that's a little different from the rest... in a good way! : D

This game impressed me. I don't have an XBox 360, but I played this over my uncle's house, who does have the system and the game. From what I've played, it's pretty good. The gameplay's a bit unique; you have to take cover and shoot from a post before you die in like 4-5 shots. You recover health when left alone, so if you are shot, you'll recover fully eventually, and just repeat this whenever engaged in combat. Granted, this style does get a little repetitive, but it's impressive how instead of jumping into the fray like most shooter games play, you approach it strategically. You have a wide arsenal at your disposal, and they're usually helpful and fun to use, so the action never grows dull. Graphically, the game's visuals are well-designed and the scenery(of a battlefield) is pretty scenic. The locations all have their fascinating features, but the frustrating thing is the camera view. It centers behind you, but is a tad bit too up-close for you to examine the area around you, causing you to be prone to enemy attacks. I also kinda wish the game would show the health meter somewhere other than when you are attacked. It's fun to shoot at enemies behind a barrier or other solid objects throughout the level. The game can be hard, as sometimes, you have to be quick to take cover, and in a smart location and quickly aim and fire at the target or you will be shot or hit.
The story is nice. I don't know much about it, but it sounds good. The character you play as is cool, but is kinda slow. I've never played the multiplayer, but it sounds pretty good, playing against 30+ players online. Anyway, this game makes me really want to get an XBox 360, but I have a PS3. Ah, oh well. Overall, a nice-looking, great-playing game that's kinda unique and great for even new XBox franchise owners! For a multiplayer game, it sounds really promising, so you shouldn't be disappointed! ; )
