I have to say this is one of the best games ever. It bring nothing new But the way it was designed makes this game perfect But a bit short. It makes me want more of gears. Anyone that says gears of war is a bad game is probably a Sony fan boy. The cover system is easy to use but sometime a pain. Example, when your running past a corner out of nowhere you stick to the corner. The weapons are interesting and take some skill. In this shooter you just cant shoot without aiming. I love how its in 3rd person. When you use a weapon you use it from a 3rd person view and when you aim it goes to 1st person. In my opinion that's how all shooters should be. You cant run around aiming at the middle of your screen. It makes you feel that you have more control and gives you the ability to create a style/tactic of how you play the game. You don't just have to shoot the person. You can aim the torque bow at the ground where some one is taking cover, make it stick in the ground then you can switch weapon to down and kill them. If you get an active reload with the torque you don't have to stick them to kill them. You can aim where they are taking cover and shoot by them or aim where they are going to be and the torque should cause them to explode. Speaking of active reloads. In online play the sniper is a pain. People will actually shoot a round of and down you with the active just cause its only one shot with the sniper to down(that doesn't make you a good player.) you can usually tell who does that by the number of downs they accumulate. Also the sniper has a sick melee. Its far and can hit twice unlike the shotgun where you can only melee once. So please if you use the sniper aim for the head. Nothing is more satisfying that a head exploding and it makes everyone think your good. Over all the weapons are well balanced its just the user who makes like them or hate them. I don't see a reason to add more weapons either. Few pointers Make sure your connection speed is good. You will lag causing connection errors to pop up and or cause everyone else to lag. If you have a low Internet connection probably not best to host a match. Once you throw a few smoke grenades the game gets really laggy.
Few pointers for them MAKE A SERVER!!! I'm tired of getting hosted by someone of less skill.
