I wasn't convinced about this game until I saw it in action. The graphics are simply astonishing and the gameplay is very intuitive and it is such a nice break from the first person view point. I remember my first run in with multiplayer was brutal, and it made me so mad that I actually went back for more, and I usually never play any multiplaying games at all. So I give this game credit for causing me to go outside of my shell and do something I don't normally do. That is saying a lot. The fight at the end of the game is probably the hardest boss fight when you play single player that I have played in some time. In fact it is so hard that I could not beat it on hardcore no matter how many time I tried. I had to break-down and play co-op. And even that was a challenge. Everything about this game was really well designed and the team that put it together deserves all the praise they are receiving. I'm not big into war games or shooters in general, but this one sucked me in and didn't let go for a few months.
